Hotel Rupert A Baler

We were happy enough to come back for a second visit. After checking with the staff, we brought our pet dog along, with the condition that we use diapers for the dog 🐕. The staff are friendly and quick to respond, and we’re grateful for that. Breakfast is excellent, and the room was satisfactory for what we paid. It’s not too far from the beach and makes it easy to get around town. For value in Baler, this is one of the best hotels and I strongly recommend it. Don’t be fooled by the expensive fake resorts on the beach, you’ll be satisfied here 👍

Being beside the public market and near the bus terminal makes it really accessible. There’s no swimming pool, though, and Sabang Beach is quite far away. We had the family room for 3 days and 2 nights, and what you see is what you get. It’s fine if you only need a place to sleep and take a warm shower, with the basic stuff provided. I did expect coffee mugs and complimentary coffee because there was a kettle, and there wasn’t a hanger for wet towels or other clothes. Breakfast wasn’t buffet style, and I wish they’d had a better option during our stay.

We stayed 4 days and 3 nights, and the room turned out bigger and better than we expected. The bathroom was huge and clean, the beds were comfy, and the room had a nice lavender smell. Staff were accommodating and available whenever we needed them. It’s right in the city center, and Sabang Beach is about a 3 minute tricycle ride away.

The staff were friendly and nice, and our room was comfortable, clean, and had the heater I always look for in a hotel. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because it’s a little far from the beach.
