We’d been cycling when rain caught us halfway up the hill, so we needed shelter and ended up at the Village for 2 nights without planning to stay. It turned out well. It’s a small place with 4 native Ifugao houses and 1 concrete-built villa/room. The native houses don’t have showers or toilets inside, so you use the shared ones. The concrete room has its own bathroom. We stayed happily in a clean, comfy native house, Bahay Kubo. The staff were very welcoming and gave us all the help and information we needed. We tried quite a few things from the menu and liked them all. Everyone recommends the chicken curry, but I’d especially call out the chopsuey, grilled marinated chicken, and leche flan for dessert ❤️

The hikes from Nature's Village through the Banaue rice terraces to the falls and hot springs were a highlight for our family, with green scenery and the sound of the water all around us. Monina Taylor was warm and attentive, sharing local stories and tailored suggestions, and nearby village tours made it easy to see more of the area. We spent three nights and four days here, enjoying the clean, roomy accommodations and the mix of rustic feel and modern comfort. The restaurant had tasty local and international dishes made with fresh ingredients. Waking up to the sunrise over the Banaue Rice Terraces was unforgettable. It’s a peaceful spot in the heart of Banawe, Ifugao, with beautiful views.

The Ifugao houses are charming, and staying in one gave us a real sense of the Banaue rice terraces. We also had a great time on the tours, which were very well organized. We got to see lots of incredible places, and the staff were always around and ready to help. Nina, Graham, Christine and Raisa made us feel at home. Everyone was welcoming and professional, the food was amazing, and the comfortable setting surrounded by nature, cats, and a dog made it easy to relax. We love Native Village Inn.

Breakfast came with a spectacular view, and the homemade food from the restaurant area made our stay feel extra special. We also loved staying in an authentic hut, which added to the experience. The restroom and shower are outside the hut, but both were very clean. Thanks to owners Nina and Graham and the staff for making the stay memorable.

I watched the sunrise over the rice terraces and mountain roads from our hut, and it was one of the most peaceful, surreal mornings I’ve had. The view from the hut was something else. As a vegan who hates bugs and needs a bidet, I was pleasantly surprised: they made a delicious vegetable curry with coconut milk and rice, the washrooms have bidets, and our hut was bug-free. There were mosquitoes at first, but a little bug spray took care of them. The place can be a little tricky to find, though the staff were lovely and helped us easily. I’d highly recommend a visit.
