The view and indoor dining area seemed fine, though the alfresco space was dusty and could use a tidy-up. Eating outside was pleasant only if nobody was smoking right beside you. I hope they add a designated smoking area. The indoor pool looked great in the photo, but it's too small if lots of guests want to swim. It seems suitable for kids more than anything. The food was also so salty that I nearly drank a whole pitcher of water, and my mom couldn't finish her meal. I first fell for the photos and the way they promoted the place on FB. Then I got excited about booking the venue, but trying to ask about availability changed my mind. I sent a few messages and sometimes heard back a day or two later, sometimes not at all, so I went there in person instead. I'm glad I didn't book it. I was close to giving it 2 stars, but the staff were so welcoming when we arrived that I added a star for them.

Loved spending time outdoors there. The location gets 5 stars, and they have a pool and bonfire pit too. You can rent a karaoke setup for an extra fee, or hire their samgyupsal grill and bring your own meat and sausages. It was a great experience.

The standout is the view, a clear 180 degree panorama of the mountains and bay. The ambience gets 5 stars from me, and there's nothing to argue about there. Service was only 2 stars. When we arrived, it felt abandoned. We knocked several times with no answer, then went inside. There was no receptionist, just two or three young boys handling everything. They were helpful, and I have nothing against them, but they weren't trained for restaurant or hotel service. Even simple requests were hard to get across, like adding carrots to the chicken ala king or asking which breakfast option we wanted before bringing everything out. The food gets 3 stars. We paid around 250 or 280 per meal, though it looked and tasted more like something costing 150, maybe even 100. Would I recommend it to friends? Honestly, no. If you mainly want the view, maybe arrange a meal at their cafe. I probably wouldn't return either. If I did, it'd be only if the room rate were cheaper, and I'd bring my own food to cook and kitchen utensils.

It's cozy here, and I just found myself a little paradise away from home. The owner is mindful of guest numbers during the pandemic and does her best to give people a safe escape from the madness of daily life. Thanks for everything, Mrs. Denz. You and your staff are truly exceptional, if not outstanding. I'll definitely come back and make this my personal retreat. 👍❤️
