Freedom Eco Adventure Park by Cocotel

We booked after seeing how other reviewers presented the place, but arriving was a shock. We were the only guests for our three-night stay. The buildings and amenities felt dysfunctional and run-down, the setting was eerie, and the accommodation was unsettling. The staff seemed kind face-to-face but weren’t helpful when we actually needed assistance. There was no vehicle to take us in or out of the park, the bar was closed, and no food was available. Getting to other food or supplies meant walking 30 minutes along a muddy, dark road, with stores far away, so having a vehicle felt essential. This wasn’t budget-friendly or easy to commute to, and what was advertised was no longer available. We ended up spending a lot on transport, meals out, and groceries for snacks. It was a nightmare, and we were unhappy to have paid so much for a stay we didn’t enjoy.

The pool is huge and deep, with a separate smaller one for kids. There are lots of activities, including a zip line, and the staff are very friendly. One of the best themed parks in Marinduque.

We weren’t happy with the visit. The advertised rock climbing, zip line, and ATV activities were either out of order or decommissioned when we got there. There was no food to buy, and the pool called “Olympic size” had murky water and was only about half the size of an actual Olympic pool.

Had a good time here. The employees are friendly, and there’s plenty of space for recreational events. Birthdays and weddings can be held here too. Thumbs up.
