The staff were really friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed staying here. For the price, the rooms are very spacious, with a hot shower, and there weren’t noisy karaoke singers in the early hours of the morning. The food was our one complaint. It wasn’t very good.

The highlight was waking up to the gorgeous view of lush rice paddies in the early morning light. The receptionist was great too, and gave us a lamp so we could adjust the lighting. The accommodations are very basic, though, and the bedding seemed questionable. If that doesn’t bother you, you’re good to go.

The room was very clean, and the service was good.

I stayed in the annex building in Samoki, Town of Bontoc, Mountain Province. My room had a TV with international channels, a fan, and a small table for two in the corner. The towels, soap, and shampoo were provided, and the coverings and blanket were freshly laundered. There was no extra pillow unless you asked for one. I’m not sure whether that costs extra. The bathroom had a hot shower. WiFi was available, but it became inaccessible once I was in my room, which was away from the router. The compact dining area is in the main building by reception. They have a menu with affordable food, including local dishes, and will cook vegetables you request, such as sayote tops or watercress, as long as you tell the staff ahead of time. If you’re on a budget and just need somewhere to rest, this place could work for you. Tricycles come by often if you want to go to the market or use the ATM. Gawis ay Mountain Province!
