We spent three nights here and most of our time at the beach, not in the room. It’s not fancy, but the price was good for what you get. The air conditioning worked well, so we slept without trouble. Wifi is only downstairs in the lobby, not in the rooms. You have to pay if you want fresh towels or sheets during your stay. If you’re American, think Motel 6 quality.

We were nine, six adults and three kids, and fit decently into one big room with three queen beds, one of them a bunk bed. We paid 5k per night, which felt reasonable for our group, and I don’t think you’ll find many places in that area in that price range that can fit so many people. It’s a good choice if you’re trying to keep accommodation costs down, especially with food vendors and activities costing $$. The room came with a table and chairs, fridge, hot shower, blankets, and towels, so no need to pack your own linens and towels. The sheets and pillowcases were surprisingly soft and comfy. They also provide hot water for coffee and silog meals to order for breakfast. Smart and DITO had phone coverage, but Globe didn’t. Wifi was available, though intermittent. They let us store our things for free after checkout. Checkout is at 11am, and since our flight wasn’t until 8pm, that meant we could make the most of the day without carrying our bags. For a more comfortable room, they could add hangers and a drawer or a tidy place for bags and clothes. Thanks for a peaceful stay. Room#3

The room’s internet was a major problem during our 4 days and 3 nights. Wifi was unstable, and although they gave us several network names and passwords, none worked well. We ended up buying pay-wifi outside, and it was only accessible outside. There was no SIM signal either, so mobile data wasn’t an option. At night we had several power interruptions and low water pressure. The water heater didn’t work, and the toilet flush was very hard to press. The TV wasn’t smart, which I can understand, but even the local channels had poor reception. The electrical sockets wouldn’t hold a plug, so we had to keep holding it to charge our phones. Service was also very poor. Often no one was at reception, and the doorbell meant to get their attention didn’t work, so I don’t understand why it was there. This was the worst staycation I’ve experienced. It may be cheap, but that doesn’t make these problems acceptable. Other nearby transient places cost less or the same and offer better service and amenities.

The rooms were clean and affordable, and the location was good. Mobile data signal was okay, but the wifi was slow. Hot showers, hot water, and a mini-fridge were available, and the service was good. A good place to stay while in Boracay.

The room didn’t feel secure: the chain lock was installed incorrectly, so it couldn’t do its job. We also had trouble finding anyone on the desk at night, even when something needed urgent attention. The assistance button seemed useless, and I doubt it was even plugged in. When water was cut off, guests gathered at reception trying to find out why and when it would return, but nobody explained anything. We got no warning beforehand. There were other problems too. A spider was left in the room after it had supposedly been cleaned, and webs on the ceiling made it seem like the place wasn’t maintained properly. The towels were stained and smelled bad, and sometimes parts of the room had a cockroach-like odor. One outlet was so loose that my phone only charged to 9% overnight. Staff also said the CCTV wasn’t working. On top of that, they kept asking us to settle the bill before checkout, which felt rude and unwelcoming. We weren’t trying to scam anyone. The list goes on.
