Swiper's Inn Boracay

Getting into this area is a bit of a challenge, and it's quite far. You'll get used to taking public trikes, either gasoline or battery-powered, to and from the airport. I stayed here with my family first, and I call it the shack. The room was a good size for three people, with cable TV, air conditioning, and a generous bathroom with hot water. The area itself is very clean. Don't expect world-class breakfast, lunch, or dinner options, but you can go downstairs to eat. You can ask to have food cooked at Beach Bytes or the carenderia, meaning the canteen. Just below swipers inn there's a mediterrenean restaurant called Kasbah, with beach chairs. You can eat there heartily or try their ice tea shake. Grab a chair and enjoy the beach too, the guys at that restaurant won't mind, and you're staying upstairs anyway. Belly dancers at night... enjoy. It's nice to have your own room with a view, with local food places just below. If you're a budget eater or smart traveller, you'll give those 5 star hotels a run for their money. A good place to start your 1st Boracay adventure.
