The room was roomy and comfortable, and the pool was a nice spot to unwind. Everyone on staff was approachable and happy to help. We spent 4 days and 3 nights at Canyon Hotels and Resorts Boracay. It isn't on the beach, but getting around was simple: there's a shuttle to D'Mall Boracay, and e-trikes are easy to catch just outside. Having a mall attached, with food, shops, and essentials nearby, was handy throughout the stay. We had a really pleasant visit and would recommend it to anyone after a comfortable, budget-friendly base with convenient transport and nearby services.

We were glad we took a chance on Canyon Hotels Boracay. There weren't many recommendations when I was looking, but it was the most affordable option that still looked nice. It turned out to be a relaxing stay, and we'd happily return or recommend it to friends and relatives. For our group of 6 adults, we booked 3 Deluxe Twin Rooms for 2 people each for 2 nights. That was me and my husband, my MIL & FIL, and my parents. Check-in and checkout were easy, and the friendly, attentive, professional staff made things comfortable from start to finish. We paid around ₱1,700 per room per night on an Agoda promo, without breakfast buffet. For the price, it was great value. WiFi was quite usable, neither especially fast nor slow, and the free shuttle to D’Mall runs on a set schedule. The hotel feels new and clean, with a nice smell around the building. There are three elevators, so getting around was easy even at busy times. Rooms use key cards, and we liked the button for turning cleaning on or off and setting “Do Not Disturb.” During a rotational power outage, the generator brought power back after only a few seconds, so the aircon and water heaters remained usable. Our bathroom was clean and stocked with a shower cap, shampoo, lotion, a mini bath soap, a mini hand soap, 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, and a floor towel. When we requested room cleaning, they replaced the towels and toiletries with fresh ones. Slippers were supplied too. They were thin, but enough to keep our feet off the cold floor. I'd asked for one large bed instead of two twins, but it worked out fine. We used one bed for clothes we'd worn outside and the other for sleeping after bathing and changing into clean clothes. The window air conditioner makes some noise, though it wasn't enough to disturb our sleep, and it cooled the spacious room quickly. At first we couldn't work out how to switch the shower flow from the faucet, since there were no instructions, but once we figured it out there was no issue. We didn't have time to use the pool. The hotel's connection to a mall was useful, with Robinsons Supermarket, Mercury Drug, food carts, and other shops close by for groceries, food, and essentials. It's not beachfront, but Station 1 is an easy walk. It was quiet there, with the finest sand and less algae than other stations during our February 2026 stay. There's also a small keyhole-shaped stone formation nearby that makes a good photo spot.

Some rooms apparently get little or no mobile signal, but the Wi-Fi worked well, so it didn't cause us trouble. It's about a 20 minute walk to Station 2 and D’Mall, though taking a trike or the shuttle makes that easier. We found the price really good for what you get. Our room was spacious, very clean, and had a nice view of the pool. The pool itself is beautiful and has a bar. Staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful, and the beds were very comfortable. There's a grocery downstairs, too. Compared with some more expensive hotels such as Lind, this place felt less cramped. It's underrated, and I'd stay again.

The staff were great, and the room itself was nice and comfortable. But there was no hot water during our stay, which affected my rating. I left a card asking for clean sheets and that wasn't done, and the cups were left dirty. I also wish they'd put my grandson’s 2 stuffed toys 🧸 back on the bed. Small gestures like that matter, so that was disappointing. The location in the mall and golf course works well for golfers and grocery shopping. The free shuttle stops at 6:30 pm, so it's not much help for evenings out, and the location is only so-so. Next time I'll book closer to the beach.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to friends or family, and I won't be back. There are plenty of other hotels in the area. It's only 3 years old, so it's almost new, and being behind Robinsons Shopping Centre is handy for shopping. But it's in Station B, away from Stations 1, 2, and 3, so you'll need a tricycle. The fare was PHP 150 for three people when we gave the hotel name, or PHP 75 for three people if we said “Robinson Kuya.” Watch out, as drivers tend to target tourists. Be careful booking through Agoda: “2 persons” means exactly 2 adults, and the hotel won't make allowances for booking errors. Extra guests cost PHP 800 each. If you don't like that policy, where there's a will there's a way. Just don't break anything or you'll lose the PHP 2,000 deposit. Ask me about the workaround and I'll message it here.
