Rama Beach Resort

The staff made our stay especially easy. They were friendly, approachable, and accommodating, and checked that we had what we needed, always greeting us with a smile. Our kubo was cozy and comfortable for spending time with friends or family, and the facilities were clean and well kept. Rama International Beach Resort was relaxing and just right for a quick getaway. We’ll definitely return.

We booked the beachfront Seaview villa, with two air-conditioned rooms, a kitchen with free LPG, and a patio. Henry, the owner, and the staff were accommodating. The rooms and unit were clean and presentable, parking was spacious, and check-in and checkout went smoothly. The location is easy to find in Waze, though Google Maps is better if you want to avoid detours. Keep an eye out for their occasional promos to get better value. There were several things that should have been checked before our arrival: the bathroom doorknob was defective, the toilet seat was broken, there was no shower heater, and one electric standing fan made a loud grinding noise. The mini fridge also wasn’t cold enough to chill our soft drinks.

Edit: We didn't cause a scene like management claims. We left right away, and other guests were complaining too. Older people near our room were also upset about the loud noise. From their reply, it seems like they’re making excuses instead of taking responsibility. I spoke with someone who works there, and the music kept getting louder. They really didn't care. If you want to relax, don't go here. Our family found a nearby place with a much nicer, cleaner pool for almost the same price. The pool at Rama was covered in algae. Original post: It was incredibly loud and not relaxing. They let people play loud music, the walls are very thin, and management wouldn't do anything about it. They didn't seem to care about other guests. After a long drive, we had to leave after only a few hours. Don't waste your money.

The staff were kind and brought us everything we needed right away. We also got to see the turtles hatching. I hope they make the pool more suitable for kids.
