Hotel Marciano

Just an overnight visit, and I was happy with it. Check-in was quick, the room and sheets were clean, and the aircon was nice and cold. We slept well since it was a quiet night. They also provided water, coffee, shampoo, and other toiletries. The Christmas tree was really nice haha.

The hotel itself is nice, especially the spacious room, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful with prompt service. But the front desk girl and management handled my concern poorly, and the internet was so bad that I had to use my pocket wifi. I booked two nights with my kids, December 31st - January 2,2026, hoping to celebrate New Year’s Eve and watch the fireworks from our room. Instead, the view was a roof, trees, and trash. When I asked to switch rooms, the front desk said there were no vacant rooms of the same type and everything was reserved. I even offered to downgrade for a better view, but she still refused, repeating that the hotel was fully booked. I only saw four or five family groups including us, there was no lobby wait, the restaurant had only us, and just four cars were parked. I emailed their page too, but got no reply. We ended up celebrating New Year’s Eve outside the hotel. I didn’t book a hotel to look at a tree, roof, and trash.

We chose Hotel Marciano because of the positive reviews, but the stay fell far short. The front desk staff were polite, yet the hotel seemed deserted and badly maintained. Black marks on the teddy bears, couch, and chairs looked like mold or heavy dirt. The pool water was yellow-brown and extremely dirty, even though it was listed as open, with no visible sign of upkeep. I included photos to show the property’s actual condition. We later noticed most of the good reviews were on Agoda, while Google reviews painted a very different picture.

We made fun memories with friends during a peaceful, relaxing stay at Hotel Marciano. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were welcoming and accommodating. I’d happily recommend it.
