The walls have scraped paint, the beds squeak, and neither the toilet flush nor the bathroom lights worked. There’s no free Wi-Fi. At around 600 pesos, the room was much worse than other hotels I’ve stayed in at that price. The rooms just need refurbishing and they’d be okay.
I was in Mindoro for a business trip, and a friend suggested I stay here. The owner was very accommodating when I arrived. The room was clean, the place was quiet, and I slept comfortably. The location is accessible, too.
Rooms are inexpensive and clean, and the receptionist is friendly. Mine wasn’t very big, and parking is limited.
A good spot for getting away from the kids and spending some time alone with the missus. Everyone needs a bit of time together.
