Cozy Persimmon Condo Cebu

For a tight budget, this may be one of the best hostels to stay at in Cebu city. We spent three nights in a standard room for 750 with a shared bathroom. The rooms looked nice and clean.

The rooftop breakfast was cooked fresh, with 2 eggs, toast, and coffee or tea. The wifi was the strongest I’ve had in the Philippines. I stayed two nights before heading south, and all the staff were kind, patient, and really helpful, especially Amaya and Jayne. The beds were comfortable, each had at least two outlets and its own night light, and the AC was strong. They even provided a fluffy gray blanket for anyone who gets cold easily. The 8 bed dorm had 3 showers and 2 toilets, plenty for the room. Getting there from the airport was easy enough: I took a MyBus for 40p to SM City Mall station, then walked 15 minutes to the hostel. It’s on a great Jeepney route to either South Bus Station or North Bus Station. Jeepney fare is 7p, and Google Maps can help you find the route. Great new hostel!

Where can we book this for an overnight stay?

I got a room with a/c and a double bed all to myself for the price of a dorm bed, so it’s worth it. It’s a really nice place, though it isn’t in the center. They also serve breakfast and rum&coke from 19:00-22:00, which is cool.
