Vacation Hotel Cebu

Even after complaining every day, things were really disappointing. The accommodation was dirty and disorganized, with lazy cleaners, very old towels and furniture, and broken items in both the room and bathroom.

The location in Cebu City makes it easy to get around. The lobby and restaurant look nice and homey, and the room was spacious. The free breakfast was good, but there was no choice, just the menu for that day, and only one drink option. It’s clearly an older hotel. Our aircon took about 6-7 hours to cool the room, and I scratched myself on a sharp edge of the pool. Security was very lax at night, with the guard asleep on shift. The room wasn’t soundproof, so we could hear hallway noise. Our reservation indicated supplementary coffee and tea, but none was provided. We had an electric kettle, but no free water. The glasses weren’t clean or clear, so I had to wash them in the bathroom sink.

The rooms feel homey and are quite spacious, which makes sense for an older hotel. It’s also easy to get around on foot, with places to eat, shop, and sightsee nearby. I was disappointed that the pool was unavailable from check-in through checkout, since using it was my main reason for booking. The price felt high too, especially with breakfast included but only one or two dishes served.

There are plenty of places to sit and relax, and the pool was clean and cool. The hotel is close to SM, Ayala, and Elizabeth Malls, with free, good Wi-Fi. Rooms are simple but clean, and breakfast is included. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. Booking directly is cheaper than using the booking sites.
