iPark Hotel by Hiverooms

It was late and raining, so I booked this hotel last minute through agoda. When we got there, the hotel turned us away, saying it was sold out. Agoda told us the hotel refused to issue a refund, even though we’d shown up and they hadn’t accommodated us. The hotel also told us to contact agoda for the refund.

Good for the price, and right next to IT park, a shopping mall, metro supermarket, 7-11 and lots of cafes.

The location and service were good, but the rooms were NASTY. The towels were dark and clearly had been used for years, and the bedsheets and blanket had yellow stains. The mattress was obviously VERY old. See the attached pictures. Not worth the price. Consider other motels or inns.

The hotel is peaceful and conveniently located for IT Park and nearby places. Booking online was smooth, my questions got quick answers, and the receptionist was pleasant when we arrived. The elevators worked well. Our room was spacious, with two double decks and a larger one that fit two, plus a cabinet. The faucets worked properly, the air conditioning was good, and the clean toilet and shower were separate, each with two doors. Toilet paper, shampoo with conditioner and soap were provided. There’s no free breakfast. We brought indoor slippers, and you can ask reception for hot water for coffee. They have an electric kettle. A few things could be improved. The sinks are outside the toilet, which felt odd, and there were no racks or hanging rods in the shower for towels or toiletries. The shower pressure kept changing, and I’m not sure the heater worked. There’s no exhaust fan in the CR, though the shower has a window. Water doesn’t drain directly because the drain is raised. The floor needed more mopping, the TV didn’t work and the wifi signal was average, though usable. The old dresser was still usable, there was only one chair, and while the towels were clean, they were old. We also only got one floormat. I hope management considers these points. It’s still a decent hotel for people on a budget who want to stay near IT Park. Customer service was professional and respectful. Thanks for accommodating us, iPark Hotel.
