Lot 8 Serviced Apartments

I spent four months here after moving from Manila to Cebu for work. The polite, helpful staff made settling in easier. Ms. Wendy deserves a special mention for looking after what I needed and always being available when I had questions or concerns. The security personnel worked to keep everyone feeling safe, and the facility team handled issues promptly with smiles. I’d read some bad reviews before arriving and was initially worried, but it’s clear they’re taking steps to improve customer service. Thank you. I’ll keep recommending the place to my friends and family.

I’ve owned a condo here for many years and have never had a problem. The rooms are cozy, the staff are helpful, and it’s a nice place in a good location. It’s also one of Cebu’s first earthquake-proof buildings, and it’s still standing, which feels like a good sign of its strength :)

After three months here, I found the building badly neglected. The pool was very dirty, with chips and cracks in the bottom, and water kept dripping outside without anyone doing anything about it. The electricity and water bills were the most striking problem: in a month, they could ask for two payments, one as high as 9k pesos and another 11k pesos. That’s far more than our bills in a bigger apartment next to the lake in Stockholm, Sweden. We used a stove for cooking and baking, a large two-door fridge, washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher, but only one aircon, a small one-door fridge, and a ridiculously small electric stove, yet the bills were still that high. Unless you have the money for it, I’d rather spend almost 30k a month at a real hotel next time. At least there’d be daily room service, a much better pool, and nicer office staff.

I stayed here for four good years, and wow, I just scrolled all the way down to read the reviews. I added this location to Google Maps 11 or 12 years ago 🤭.
