Northsky Beach Resort

We booked at the last minute for my mother's birthday party, and Sir Henry, the supervisor, was patient and helpful on the phone. He explained how booking and payment worked and accommodated our request. I'm not completely sure I've remembered his name correctly. Even with the short notice, he and the team did a lot to make sure everything went smoothly. Our family and guests had a wonderful time, and we felt the staff really cared that we enjoyed our stay. It was worth every penny. I'm grateful to the whole Northsky Beach Resort staff for the service, and we're already looking forward to another vacation there.

The staff are friendly, and the grounds are very clean. The beach water was quite dirty, though, so it's not really the kind of place you'd swim, unless you head out to the deeper parts. It's a good option if you want to relax or spend some time alone. It's in a good spot to reach: you can catch a bus at the North Bus Terminal near SM City and ask for buses going to Sogod. The entrance is right beside the Central Nautical Hwy. It was okay, but could've been better.

The landscaped grounds are neat, and it's a nice place to relax and spend time with family. There are huts for day use, rooms for overnight stays, and a big pool. It's close to the sea, but the shore is rocky, with no sandy beachfront. Reception isn't open around the clock, so you can only make requests while the attendant is awake. My room had a particular smell that irritated my nose and set off my allergies.

The grounds were well kept and the view was exceptional. My room was fairly large and comfortable, though dated, with a firm foam bed. The food was decent, and the staff were awesome. The shower was terrible. The pool looked great, but it was raining, so I didn't use it.
