The rooms were relatively clean, with air conditioning and comfortable beds, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They seemed to be doing their best to keep the hotel up to a high standard. There’s a small shop, a place along the way where you can get drinking water or make coffee, and the airport arrivals area is close by. But the hotel is on a street by the sea, and the beach is filthy and stinks. Trash is everywhere, including floating in the water, so I wouldn’t go swimming. At night it gets so noisy I couldn’t sleep. Dogs are all over the place, barking loudly through the night. The whole area is dirty and full of rubbish, like the Philippines generally.
