The air-conditioning worked well, and there was Netflix in the room, but there were some real concerns too. The wall had holes that could let someone see into the room, which didn’t feel private. The water smelled rusty and looked yellowish. They also charged extra for early check-in, even though other hotels allow it when the room is ready.

The staff were accommodating, but cleanliness was an issue. The floor was dusty, there was mold on the toilet lid, and the aircon had a really thick layer of dust.

Had a great time renting a bike here. The Honda Click’s are fun to ride, and they gave me a full-face helmet too, which came in handy in the rain.

It’s handy for getting around, just a few steps from the bazaar, food centers, and church. I hope the inn improves, because Coron is a really nice place. Still, I was disappointed with the stay. The water smelled bad, the floor was dirty, the toilet seat was broken, and I could hear people talking outside and smell their cigarettes. I’ve stayed in budget inns before, but this one didn’t feel worth the price. The staff also seemed to lack hospitality training.
