I loved the quiet, cozy feel here. It’s set back from the main road, has that nature smell, and there’s a coffee shop right next door. Breakfast was yummy each day, and the staff were always happy to help. The two women at reception also served breakfast and were really sweet and friendly. There’s a cat and two dogs outside. The rooms vary in size, but they’re basic: a bed, air conditioning, clean toilets, WiFi, and Filipino breakfast. You can refill potable water from the dispenser downstairs. Getting to Jim’s Castle means going down a steep slope and climbing another one, so anyone with mobility issues may find it difficult. For someone with average fitness, it wasn’t a big deal. I gave it five stars for the value and the lovely hosts. Just arrive with basic expectations and you’ll enjoy it.

Really good value, with friendly staff who were always around to help. Jims Castle Inn is close to town and restaurants, and there’s a lovely garden out front. I had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend it 😀

The people were nice and supportive, and the quality felt good for an affordable price. The fan room gets a bit hot around noon, but opening the window keeps it cool the rest of the day.

I stayed three days, and as an old man I made a serious mistake. Ms Princess at the front desk and the cleaning lady helped me out. They were both so kind and helpful. Thank you very much, and good luck in the future.

Breakfast was offered, but you had to pay for it. The room and bathroom were disgusting: the shower had no wall between it and a bucket, and there were no amenities. We found bed bugs and cockroaches, and I kept hearing roosters every minute while trying to sleep. There were dogs around too. The hotel was advertised as being on the main road, but it’s actually tucked away in an alley off that road. It was absolutely horrible. If you’re staying here, please switch to another hotel if you can.
