Chindonan Dive and Beach Resort

The wreck dives were incredible, and Matt was a fantastic guide. He kept us comfortable and safe, and every dive was amazing. That’s the main reason to come here, the diving is world-class. The resort itself is a bit scruffy, though major renovations are underway, including a pool and bar area that sound great. The food was good and the staff were lovely. We’ll be back, and might even try the new pool.

We had a really nice few days at the dive resort, both for relaxing and for diving. Matt and his crew worked hard to make each day run smoothly and keep the diving fun. Rooms now have electricity all the time, hot water, air conditioning, and daily cleaning. The boat is fast, and the dive spots are all within 15 minutes. The restaurant serves healthy food and tries to make something different each day. Construction was happening, but it didn’t bother me. The Karate was also a fun one-hour trip around the island. Wreck diving was exciting, especially the more adventurous routes. You’re in Coron, after all!

Friendly staff, a good breakfast, and cold beer. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with beautiful sea views. The water from the taps may run brown at first, so give it a few minutes to clear. A great base for a sea kayaking trip. Enjoy the Philippines.

Diving was the highlight for us, especially getting to go with Mike. He took us from complete beginners to diving in no time, made sure we felt safe, and we had a lot of fun. You can explore the nearby coral gardens and WWII wrecks, or arrange private day trips to remote islands, which are worth doing too. The view at Chindonan when you wake up feels unreal. The women managing the resort were amazing and always helpful, and Matt was great as well. Thanks to everyone, we hope to see you again soon!
