The family villa worked really well for us. It had three rooms and two bathrooms, and honestly could sleep 10, though it was perfect for our family of six. We were five people and paid only 10k for the night, so the price felt very affordable. The staff were accommodating throughout our island hopping tour, bringing bottled water whenever we came back onboard after diving. The trip included a buffet lunch at their private beach resort on malapascua island, which we had all to ourselves. Staff helped remove our fins, brought cold drinks, and made sure we had everything we wanted and needed. The restaurant was also great, with fast service, excellent portions for the price, and quality that was impeccable, even though the prices were lower than most. Photos show the food and the boat we used for island hopping. In Tagalog for Filipinos: sobrang solid dito, super relax ng vibe, worth it lahat ng gastos. 10k sa room for 5, 15k private boat with free lunch sa exclusive beach resort, 3k spent on food for 5? very solid for me.

We only stayed one night before heading to Malapascua, but the resort was amazing. The rooms were tidy and spacious, and there was a gym, a nice buffet, a bar, a big pool, and a spot right on the beach. The people and staff were amazing. We booked a transfer through them, and the communication and organization were perfect. Our driver was already waiting at the airport when we arrived and drove very safely.

We spent our anniversary here and had plenty to do. The resort is massive, and we barely stayed in our room because there were so many fun activities. Dinner was a real highlight, one of the most delicious meals we’ve tried, and there was a breakfast buffet too. Horseback riding was a lot of fun, and the horses looked healthy and well cared for. We also relaxed at the bar with beer and coffee, which was really comfortable. It was our first visit, but it won’t be the last. Too bad we didn’t bring our rubber shoes, or we could’ve played pickleball or tried the gym.

We ended up spending the night in Room 907 after the coast guard announced that boats couldn’t cross to Malapascua island. The place was on the expensive side, but the room was good, clean, and proper. Service was friendly and good, and the restaurant served delicious food.

The villa was spacious, comfortable, and well designed, and the reception staff made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. The beautiful surroundings offered a peaceful break from busy city life, making Kandaya Resort a lovely place to relax, especially if you enjoy nature.
