Casa Bicolandia Suites

We checked in around 7pm on February 27. The person at reception who helped us was fine, and at first the room seemed fine too. Then I noticed the shower wouldn’t stay in its holder, so you had to hold it while showering. There was also a huge spider in the room that I had to kill, which was terrifying. I was very disappointed, especially since we paid a lot. The AC couldn’t cool the room properly because the room was so big.

The staff were generally okay, but the stay as a whole wasn’t good. We booked and paid for 3D2N through Agoda, yet the room we got didn’t match the website photos. We asked for a refund on the second day because it wasn’t what we expected, but the hotel refused to return the payment. There was no parking available, and breakfast wasn’t satisfactory either.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the location was good. The room was comfortable, though having the TV beside the bed made it a little awkward to watch. Still, it was a pleasant enough stay.

The location was handy for nearby businesses and transport, and the staff were polite and reliable. We got two small bottles of water for our room of two for the whole 3d2n stay, and the heater worked. The room was clean but had lots of mold, and the amenity kit was so-so and not enough for the length of the booking. I booked a room for two, but got only one breakfast, and my rate wasn’t discounted. If you’re hoping to rest, don’t stay here: there was loud construction going on and it made sleeping impossible. The hotel is also on a busy road with no room insulation, so traffic could be heard, though it died down at night. The WiFi was very weak.
