The Leaf House

It's a basic place, but clean and nice, with a quiet, convenient location that worked well for a short business trip in the Metro. Staff were helpful and responsive. Parking was a bit of a hassle but manageable, though having a valet parking attendant would help. Make sure your room includes the things you booked. If the listing says microwave or ref, ask for it. Bring your own toiletries if you're picky or sensitive.

The warm shower was the only thing I liked about my first visit to the Leaf House. There was no signage, the entrance felt like a back gate, and there wasn't a reception desk. You see the rooms as soon as you enter. No food or bottled water was provided, and the drinking water was from the faucet. Not an impressive first stay.

The two female staff members on duty on July 25th 2020 were very rude. Our room was poorly maintained: the sink faucet didn't work, the bathroom light flickered, the bidet had no rest, and the drain was clogged. They also refused to issue an official receipt.

It's a quiet place where you can relax, though the room is small. There's no wardrobe, so your clothes have to stay in your bag. There's a kitchen sink, but I don't understand the cabinets under it since cooking isn't allowed. You also have to eat in the pantry rather than in your room, but I was okay with that.
