Higala Resort

A lovely place to unwind. The pool area looked stunning, and our room was spotless. Highly recommend!

You can tell this place is run with a lot of care. The pool is great for relaxing, the breakfast tastes good, and everything has a calm, welcoming feel. Peter and his wife Anna are the best part, warm and helpful, with great tips that made us feel at home right away. Nero the lovely dog adds to the charm, too. We appreciated being able to rent a scooter right through the hotel, which made exploring the island easy. Higala Resort is peaceful and beautifully maintained, with stylish, spotless rooms that have what you need for a relaxing stay. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re after peace, style, and genuine hospitality!

The owner was on site and ready to help with anything I needed. When I mentioned that my room’s air conditioner wasn’t working properly, a brand new unit was installed within a few hours. I’ve been traveling for almost three years, and HIGALA is one of my favorite places I’ve stayed. The vibe is really chill, the pool is great, and breakfast is delicious. Renting a motorbike directly from the resort is very convenient. I’ll definitely stay here again if I’m back on Panglao.

Peter and Anna, thank you for such warm, amazing hospitality! We arrived a bit early and it wasn’t a problem; the owner welcomed us and had a lovely chat with us. They’re kind and always willing to help or give advice when something comes up. The place is quiet and clean, with some wonderful residents: Nero the dog, receptionist Shackie the cat, and bodyguard Blackie the cat. I don’t usually write reviews, but this stay deserved one. So many positive vibes. It was our last stop in Philipines and the best stay at the end of our trip. I hope we can come back soon. There’s no other option for us to stay in Panglao than Higala with its great stuff. Thanks again.
