Room 306 was dark, with a small street-facing window, and I could hear people chatting outside all Saturday night. It's close to the red light district. The window AC was strong enough, and the shower worked well, with an instant hot water heater and soap provided. The grout was mouldy, though. The TV was small and the power button was missing, while the remote didn't work, so I turned it on by putting my finger in the hole. No elevator, but the Wi-Fi was strong and fast. I could see the other rooms were small and dark too. No insects, guest friendly, and the front desk was staffed day and night. I paid 1266 pesos through the TRIP app, at 56 pesos to 1 USD. Check-in was at 1400 and checkout at 1200.

It's right in central Davao, and for somewhere to sleep it's a sensible choice. The bed was decent, the place bearably clean, and the toilet and shower worked. The rooms are very cramped and windowless, though, and only one of the four switches by the door did anything. There were the usual 2-inch cockroaches. The TV didn't work, even after I asked to move rooms. The first room was a little bigger, but by then it was occupied and they couldn't put me back in it. It felt like my earlier reservation had just been left hanging, and there wasn't much reason for them to bother since I'd already paid. I also had to remind them every day to turn on the Wi-Fi.

The rooms were decent, with a shower, heater, AC and cable TV. The elevator and hallways are tiny.

Check the beds carefully before settling in, since there are lots of bed bugs. The location is fairly near People's Park, and the red light district is close too 😅. A night walk along San Pedro will take you past the clubs.

I enjoy staying here and think it's good value at a reasonable price. My one suggestion would be to have more menu items available around the clock.
