OYO 199 Solange Apartelle

I picked this OYO during a work trip to Davao City because I wanted somewhere close enough to walk to my office. The location worked well for me, and SM City and Jack Ridge are nearby too. The room turned out to be more like a compact condo than the basic clean air-conditioned room I expected. It had a comfortable bed, TV, work table, and simple kitchen equipment including a stove and microwave. I liked how the layout made good use of the space. The property was spotless, with fresh linens and good lighting, and the staff were respectful and easy to find when I needed help. The rate felt very affordable for what was included. I was pleased with my stay at the OYO Solange branch and would book it again. 9 out of 10.

Joy at the front desk was welcoming when my family and I arrived, and let me know our rooms were being prepared. Raymond helped us with what we needed, explained things, and showed us to rooms 9 and 10. We stayed overnight on Oct 18-19, 2019, and had a great time in Davao city. Google Maps made the place easy to find, though anyone unfamiliar with the area should have mobile internet. The rooms were great, and I'd recommend staying here.

A peaceful spot just a short walk from the highway. There are shops and restaurants close by, and the kitchen has the essentials. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It's a nice choice if you want to relax for a few days, and I'd love to return for a longer stay.

The Wi-Fi barely reached my room on the third floor, and afternoon sun made the room hot through its big window. Even with those drawbacks, this was the best place I stayed on my Mindanao trip. It's clean, cozy, and quiet, the staff are accommodating, and the price is very affordable. Good job OYO!
