OYO 496 D'Abirus Inn

It's fine for the price, and the staff are really accommodating. They helped with directions and suggested a souvenir shop with discounts. The location is accessible and near many places around the city. The rooms aren't all alike: some don't have heaters, and the beds vary. There aren't many free extras either, with no slippers, tissue, or toothbrush.

This was our third stay, and we'll be back. The staff are friendly and always give us our favorite room. The rooms are reasonably priced, and I like the location. I felt perfectly safe as an American, with the police barracks directly across the street. There are some cool shops next door selling police merchandise. I bought camouflage shorts, cop pants with lots of pockets, and a holster. There are also places to eat within walking distance.

We had a good time over our three days and two nights, especially watching Netflix and YouTube. People's Park is within walking distance, and we went out walking at night. It's a very budget-friendly inn, and I still like it. We'd bought lots of mangosteen and some durian candy, and cockroaches came out of the cabinet. They seemed to know when to go after the food, not us, haha. The place does need to fix the cockroach smell, though.

A decent place for the price if you're after somewhere simple rather than fancy. They provide fresh sheets and towels, and there's a warm shower. Soap and tissues aren't included, but that's okay. You can buy drinks and snacks there too. I'd recommend it.
