We spent 9 days at E&C Tourist Inn and would happily return. The hosts were friendly and very accommodating. Once, the water ran out because of staffing limitations on New Year’s Day, but it was back within two hours. The location was especially convenient, close to City Mall, with Grand Royal Spa across the road. Jollibee, McDonald’s, Starbucks, and NOPH were also nearby. Even with a pickleball court outside, the place stayed quiet. We didn’t hear outside noise, though the air-conditioning was quite loud 😅. We didn’t mind, since it worked like white noise for us. Our room was spacious and had two queen-size beds, a dining table and four chairs, a TV, hot shower, and a nice bathroom. The shower taps could use an upgrade. There was also a kitchen sink with complimentary dishwashing liquid, utensils, basic cooking appliances, a kettle, a fridge, plenty of room to store and hang clothes, and complimentary 3in1 coffees. The beds were on the firm side but still comfortable, and the air-conditioning worked well.

There was plenty of parking, and we could even leave the car right outside our room’s back door. The location was great too, close to the shopping centre and easy to get to food spots. Our fairly new family room had a working kitchenette and enough space for our big family with kids. The beds and air-conditioning felt wonderful after a long day, and the place was great value for the price.

For a very affordable price, we got a clean, spacious room with hot water and air conditioning. The hosts were very friendly, and bikes were available to rent.

The owner was so kind and personally answered my questions and request. The area is quiet, and our room was big and really nice, with two tables where we could work or play. It had hot and cold shower, a toilet with bidet, air conditioning that made the room very cold, and fast, reliable WiFi. We’ll book here again next time we visit Dumaguete.

After looking around the city for cheaper places, I was glad to find this budget-friendly spot in Dumaguete. It has what you need for a longer stay. For ₱1,700/night, the room came with a refrigerator, cooking utensils, induction cooker, water heater, bidet, air conditioner, widescreen TV, and plates. I liked the huge mirror for checking my outfits. The room was spotless and spacious enough for a family. There’s lots of parking, greenery around the property, and it stays quiet despite being only a few walks from the highway. Citymall Dumaguete is just a few meters away, and food places are easy to reach. We did have a power outage on our second day, from 6am to 6pm. Fortunately, we were out on a day tour and didn’t need to be in the room. Check the power schedule if you plan to stay. Other than that, we had no problems, and I’ll definitely come back when I travel to Duma again.
