Hotel Dumaguete

The housekeeping team kept our room very clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the breakfast, though I hope they add a vegetarian option. My friends and I had a terrific two-night stay. Restaurants and cafes are easy to reach, about 5-10 minutes by trike, and the location worked really well for us.

We really liked eating at the hotel, even more than going out. The food was excellent, and you can dine in your room or elsewhere in the hotel. The staff were warm, helpful, and gave top-notch service. It’s a beautiful, spacious, very clean and modern hotel with a touch of nature, right in the heart of Dumaguete. One of the newer hotels, built in 2022. I’d recommend it and would definitely stay again when I’m in Dumaguete.

The relaxed, welcoming feel made it easy to slow down and enjoy our time here. Hotel Dumaguete has a nice balance of comfort and character, and the location puts everything conveniently nearby. We really enjoyed our stay.

The room was spacious, the place was clean and well kept, and the staff were friendly and professional. We used the complimentary hotel shuttle to and from the hotel, which saved us money. There’s also a free shuttle to parts of Dumaguete City when available. On a previous stay with my friend, they even took us to Dumaguete port and picked us up when we went to Siquijor for a tour. There’s no refrigerator in the room, so we had to use the shared one in the pantry for pasalubong like silavanas. The hotel is beside buglas isla, which has good food. The pool was nearly empty when we visited, and they provide separate towels for swimming and bathing. We could order food through Grab and eat it by the pool without an extra charge. We stayed for two days and one night and had a wonderful experience. It’s a bit pricey, but I think it’s worth it. We highly recommend Hotel Dumaguete and will be back. Thank you!
