The beach itself isn't the best, but it's peaceful, with a long shore to explore. We didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on the lodging. The owner and staff were really nice, let us park on their property while we walked along the beach, and answered our questions. We liked it so much we stayed for coconut juice, freshly picked from the tree. Their meal and tour packages were the cheapest we found nearby. We also rented a small boat for Php 400 for the two of us and went to the tiny island visible off the left side of the shore. It was fun and amazing.

We came here to get away from the other tourists, and it really is a place to chill. It's a bit far from most attractions, but you can reach it by motorbike or take a jeepney from the bus terminal in Corong Corong around 11 a.m. Go early to make sure there's a seat. You can rent motorbikes through them and visit Nacpan and Duli Beach, around 30 minutes away. The calm hits as soon as you arrive, even though the beach itself isn't the best. We loved the place so much it was hard to leave. The food was the best we had in Phillipines, and also the best priced. The staff are a lovely, smiley, helpful family. A couple of things to know: the bathroom water wasn't clean, and there was no internet or signal, though that could be a plus. At night it can get really windy, and the cabaña doesn't offer much protection or have blankets, so it can get cold.

We only stopped here briefly. It's a very remote campsite, so don't expect much in the way of amenities. The setting is great for sunrise and morning walks. If a semi-glamping stay sounds good to you, give it a try.

This is my own paradise. The staff are amazing, friendly, and keep the place clean. It's quiet enough to read a favorite book or just relax, with a wonderful cool breeze. Salamat Po!

The food is delicious, and cheap beer makes it easy for guests to meet and mingle. The huts are adorable and even have electricity, while the price is affordable for a typical backpacker. The staff are incredibly helpful, sweet, and lovely, especially Tintin! Best place to stay in Sibaltan.
