Getting around took some planning since the place was far from pretty much everywhere, so we needed a tricycle. The staff were quick and efficient about ordering one in time for us. Inside, I had what I needed, though one more plug would have been useful.

We needed somewhere close to the airport and found this on agoda. The place was clean and fairly new, and the owner and staff were helpful and seemed to care. The aircon worked well, and I used the free outdoor kitchen. On my first of five nights, I had the hottest, strongest shower I’d had in the phils. It was worth it for me, and I’d stay here again when I return. I enjoyed it.

We stayed five nights at Solana Inn and wished we could have stayed longer. The airport is only five minutes away, and downtown, which is busy and crowded, is about 15 minutes away. I prefer a quieter, more picturesque area, so this suited me. The inn is professionally run, with clean rooms, cold A/C, and a very comfortable bed. There’s a fridge and cooking supplies in the common area, handy if you’re watching your food budget. The staff were kind and quick to help, with suggestions for restaurants, nightlife, and places to visit, but no pushy sales pitch. Scooters are easy to rent if you need one.
