The staff were the standout for me. They were attentive, always smiling, and quick to help with anything. The resort is beautiful, clean, and easy to find. Getting into town was simple with the complimentary Tuk Tuk, which was quick and easy to arrange. They also sorted out a van to the airport for us, and the whole thing was stress-free. We enjoyed the food at Jinjer Restaurant, which was delicious and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was included and well worth it, with a full selection of continental and a la carte options. I’d also recommend the spa massage. We don’t get anything like it in the UK! And a bonus star for Ursula, the sweet little black cat. She mostly keeps to herself unless you invite her over for cuddles.

We spent five nights here, and it made a great base for exploring the El Nido area. The resort is in a somewhat busy area, but it feels peaceful, with impeccable service and shuttles into town included. There are three pools, and none was very busy. The rooms are a little odd and small, though well maintained, as is the resort. The beach beside it isn’t suitable for swimming because there’s little sand and lots of jagged rocks, but the tide pools have all sorts of interesting life. Highly recommend.

The view from Cadlao El Nido Resort was stunning, and I enjoyed the whole stay. From the accommodation staff to the restaurant team, everyone was friendly and professional. Their warm smiles and attentive service made me feel welcome and comfortable. The restaurant was a highlight. The ingredients were high quality, and the creative touches made each dish special and delicious. I also liked the boutique, which had a curated range of quality clothes and souvenirs. Service was top class, with every detail handled smoothly. If you’re looking for high class accommodation and great dining, I highly recommend Cadlao El Nido Resort and Restaurant. They won’t disappoint.

The staff are friendly, professional, and keen to help make your stay a good one. I’ve now stayed at Cadlao Resort twice, and it’s still one of my top picks in El Nido. The whole property is lovely, very clean, and well maintained. There are three pools, and two have breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding mountains. They’re perfect for relaxing. We had lunch and dinner at Jinjer restaurant, and every dish was a hit, from fresh seafood to beautifully plated desserts. Breakfast is included and really good. The cocktails are great too, and Happy Hour is a good deal. A 10/10 stay for me. I’ll be back for a third visit!

What I’ll remember most is how welcome everyone made me feel. I wish I’d stayed longer, and if I return to El Nido, I’ll stay at Cadlao again. Every person I met, from reception to the restaurant and housekeeping, was warm, engaging, and genuinely kind. The hospitality felt real. Francis took time to explain Filipino dishes and helped me try new local flavors. He also had great suggestions for things to do around the island. The hotel views are incredible, and the pool never felt crowded. I enjoyed the restaurant too, Jinjer, and every dish I tried was delicious.
