My bike was towed from in front of the hotel, and I had to pay a fine to get it back. The hotel took no responsibility. On top of that, the shower water smelled like a sewer, water went out several times during the day, the rooms were dirty and worn, some lights didn’t work, and the internet was down. Staff were rude and incompetent. A nightmare of a place to stay, avoid it at any cost!

It’s basic, not a high-end hotel, but good value for the price and the customer service was excellent. The mattress was nice, the shower had hot water, and the AC worked. WiFi was spotty in the room but solid in the lobby. Free breakfast and a safe box were included.

We’re budget travellers, but this was by far the worst hotel we’ve stayed in, and I can’t recommend it. My husband and I arrived at 3:30 a.m. after emailing a few days ahead to let them know, but nobody replied. They asked whether we wanted a double bed or the two twins we’d booked. Since a double was available, we chose it. After a few hours’ sleep, we were told over breakfast to move to a twin room, so we did. At first the second room seemed fine. By evening it was full of flies. Reception sprayed bug spray everywhere; the flies dropped to the floor, but nobody cleaned them up. The bathroom flooded when we showered. Staff didn’t know what to do, so we asked for a mop and cleaned it ourselves. The next day we requested housekeeping because flies were still on the floor. They cleaned that, but left the trash. By evening things were worse: termites were all over the pillows and bedsheets. We asked to move, but were told the hotel was full. We insisted we couldn’t stay there, and after some calls they “found” another room that first needed cleaning. That was our third room in three nights. It was extremely dusty, with a dried-up lizard hanging from the curtain that had clearly been there a long time. Neither the second nor third room had a hair dryer, and in both rooms the hot water didn’t work until someone came to fix it. The WiFi was terrible, so don’t rely on it. Breakfast was inconsistent too. Twice we ordered bread and eggs and didn’t get fruit, though we saw other guests being served it. On the third day we asked, and were told fruit came with all breakfast options. The stay was extremely disappointing, with problems well beyond what I’d expect from budget accommodation. I strongly recommend choosing another hotel.

This was the worst hotel ever, just problem after problem. Avoid this hell. The WiFi didn’t work, there was no hot water, the furniture was broken, lights were out, and it was dirty, rusty and noisy. Our new, clean room had flies everywhere and a used shampoo bottle in the shower, so it probably hadn’t been cleaned very well. That seemed normal for this hotel, though things got worse as we went on. We paid extra for a luxury room with a view and balcony, hoping for some comfort at the end of our holiday. The view was an excavator demolishing the road right below our windows, plus a motorbike parking lot where bikes roamed at night. We could tell it was bad when we arrived. Staff said the excavator worked from 8.00, and we said okay since we were getting up early for a trip. But before 7.30 it woke us, then kept breaking up the road all day. We complained and tried to resolve it, and the hotel offered a refund and said we could move out. Everything was sold out in season, so we had to stay. When we reported that the WiFi wasn’t working, they said it worked at reception and told me to use it there. We also had no hot water; they didn’t fix it and told us to move out. The drinking water tank had boiling water, so we couldn’t drink it. The hotel did nothing about that either and said we could leave. The WiFi only worked for people in the hallway on the balcony right beside our door, so they’d call and shout under it and disturb us. The windows didn’t block any sound, like sleeping with them open. We spent every night with our feet in our ears. Breakfast was terrible, nothing but pancakes, and you couldn’t eat them because they were drowned in oil. On the last day my gallbladder hurt so much I was paralyzed during the boat trip. I had to ask reception for clean towels because they usually didn’t change them; when they did, they gave one towel per person. That’s only a fraction of it. Linen and towels were finished. The hotel saves money where it shouldn’t. I also don’t think it’s appropriate for the manager to flirt with staff in front of customers. It’s unprofessional; they should do that outside working hours. The hotel used to try to help clients, but this time made no effort. There was dirt in the hallways that they just swept with brooms.

They kept my bags safe after checkout, and I came back later to pick them up with no hassle. The staff were always friendly and ready to help. For the price, the room was clean and had AC and Wi-Fi. Being next to inasal was a nice bonus for me.
