Floresita's Beach Resort

We went to the restaurant Floresitas and really enjoyed the Filipino food. The beach area is lovely and relaxed, a nice place to unwind. We also loved the family who work there. They're very friendly and open.

The staff were top notch, and the food they made was fantastic. Our cottage, though, was bare bones and felt overpriced at 1500 php. The toilet was broken. Finding the place was a challenge since the only access is by driving along the beach, so Google Maps only got us to the right township. We asked locals for directions: the first person didn't know, but the next two helped us get there. It's sandwiched between two dive ships. I'd recommend paying more for one of the better cottages and skipping the lower-cost one.

The Wi-Fi was the best connection we'd had in a month of travel, even better than in Thaïlande. Floresita beach resort is a calm, beautiful spot right by the beach. The generator doesn't work at night, despite what some people said. It's a family place, and the mother was so kind and did everything she could to make us happy. She also cooks really well. We had the best food of our whole trip in Philippines, and I truly recommend it if you want to feel at home. ❤️

It's a fantastic place to relax in a hammock by the beach, eat great food, and disconnect from social life. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly for us. There isn't a sign to help you find the place, but the owner always replied when I messaged her. She arranged a van from puerto princesa city to the resort, a seven-hour trip. A private van transfer is the better choice.
