I felt safe and comfortable as a solo female traveler, and the clean shower and comfort room were a big plus. Breakfast is free, with pandesal and coffee or tea, and they also offer island hopping tours and shuttle transfers to Nacpan Beach, which is handy. This was my first hostel stay in El Nido, and it was a good experience. I paid a low price but still had plenty of privacy in my bunk, which had its own light and fan and stayed comfortable without getting too warm. Maybe they could put on more social events, but the stay made me realise hostels can be great.

The wooden dividers were my favourite, they gave me so much privacy. I stayed more than a week last January and really enjoyed it. The rooms were very clean, and housekeeping even let me dry my clothes on the roof. There's free bread and coffee every morning. Ellen, James, Celeste, and Joseph were all lovely and quick to help whenever I had questions. I booked my tours through them, and everything was organised. I'd definitely stay again!

Right in the centre of El Nido port, the location is convenient but still quiet. The rooms were clean and had great air conditioning. The staff were especially kind and helpful. They helped us rent a scooter, suggested activities, and arranged our transfer from El Nido to Puerto Princesa airport at a really good price.

Marriel was wonderful, friendly, helpful, and a big part of what made my stay memorable. The service from everyone was excellent, and the whole staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Happiness Hostel really lives up to its name. Thanks so much for the hospitality and care. I'll be back!

The main area is airy and pleasant, with a decent view of the water, and there's a nice atmosphere with social activities every night. The staff were the best, especially James, Ellen, and Celeste. The location is perfect. Rooms are roomy and clean, the beds are comfortable, and the sliding doors give you good privacy. Already looking forward to another trip here. 🩷
