The service was top-notch and the price was good. The rooms are small.

Our budget double was pretty small, so I’d suggest paying a bit more for a standard double. It was very clean, though, and we enjoyed our stay. The hosts were extremely friendly, and hot water was provided for tea and coffee. The place is central, and the wifi worked perfectly, the best wifi in the Philippines. My partner and I would highly recommend it.

The walls are quite thin, so hearing other people in their toilet wasn’t great. The shower was cold, though that’s not uncommon in a lot of places in EI Nido. Those were just two small issues and didn’t spoil our stay. It’s in a great location, everything was clean and tidy, and the friendly hosts were very helpful. Good value for money.

If the electricity stays on 24/7, this place is a gem. But when the power goes out, it’s horrible. The house was fully booked, yet they refused to run their generator because they said they would run out of fuel. It was 30C at night, with no fan or AC available. We opened the window, but a neighbor’s generator was right outside, sending fumes in. We went down to ask them to turn on their generator and were told no, because of the fuel. With a full house, they should go buy some. It’s crazy how little they’d do to satisfy guests. We had to leave our room at 3 at night because it was unbearable. When we asked if anywhere was open, the lady said it was late, but we went out and found a 24h bar literally across the street. After arguing, they gave us a refund for our 4 day stay, minus a little cancelation fee. Later that night the father of the family turned on the generator, which we really appreciated, even though the lady had said they wouldn’t.
