RC Villas and Resorts

An amazing choice in El Nido. Our bungalow was clean and well equipped, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They helped with anything we needed, and the meals were delicious. The scenery from the pool, restaurant, and our own balcony was superb. It's away from the busy, loud center. You can rent scooters, or the hotel's driver can take you to Vanilla Beach, where you can catch tuktuks, or take you to the zipline.

The cats were a little highlight for us, so friendly and full of personality, and the geckos and other small tropical creatures gave the resort a real island feel at night. We also loved the food. Breakfast and dinner were fresh and full of flavor, and you could tell care went into preparing it. Matt, the owner, and his family made the stay especially easy. They shared local tips and helped us get around El Nido, always with a warm, personal touch. The staff were just as welcoming, and their kindness made us feel more like family than guests. Our honeymoon suite was beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful. The bubble bath with its view was a real treat after exploring. The resort sits on a hill, but there was always a driver ready to take us up or down the stairs, which made getting around simple. Shops were close by, and the free rides to Vanilla Beach were a thoughtful extra. We had a wonderful stay at RC Villas and Resorts for such a special trip, and would happily recommend it and come back.

The restaurant was a real standout. I loved the English breakfast, and the starters were great too. The pizzas were decent, while the slow pulled pork dish really showed what the chefs can do. There’s a small pool beside the restaurant at the top of the resort, about 10 meters long, with a breathtaking view. The rooms were modern and looked after by a friendly, helpful team. Mine had air conditioning, a TV, shower, mini fridge with soft drinks and beverages, and a decent-sized bed. The resort overlooks some lovely El Nido scenery, and the owner has made it a beautiful place to stay. They also have laundry at a reasonable price, a free ride to Vanilla Beach, and activities including island hopping and moped rentals. My scores: location 8/10, rooms 10/10, service 10/10, food 9/10. A tuktuk was always waiting by the street entrance to take us up to the villas for free. The cottages are modern, comfortable, and functional, though they sit on a steep hill. We found it one of the most convenient places we’ve stayed, and the restaurant at the top has breathtaking views and a small pool.
