Casa Basa Siargao

What made the stay especially memorable were the friendly staff serving delicious meals and the adorable dogs that made us feel at home. Casa Basa Siargao has a cozy, relaxing feel, great for unwinding after exploring the island. It’s near the center but quiet enough to enjoy some peace. We liked the book-filled lounge, the pool that’s open 24/7, and the clean, comfortable rooms. Free Starlink Wi-Fi, laundry, and scooter rentals also made it easy to get around. We’d love to return!

We were stuck in Siargao for a couple of extra nights because of the weather, and the staff were flexible about our checkout. The owner and team were friendly and accommodating, making us feel comfortable throughout the stay. The clean, good-quality rooms were a plus, but the pool was the highlight. It’s a lovely quiet place to relax that’s still not too far from the center.

I had the best shower I can remember in 40 years, and the omelettes and service were excellent. The room, lobby, and pool were spotless. The lobby feels like someone’s private home and has a huge library. Ralph and Lynn deserve kudos. It’s a quiet hideaway just off a main road, far enough out to stay peaceful but close to what we wanted. There are good local places to eat nearby, plus bigger, fancier restaurants a few minutes down the street by ride. It feels like home. I’d recommend staying 5-7 days to recover, restore, relax, and reflect. Reserve ahead!

With only a few rooms, Casa Basa has a personal feel, and the hosts and staff welcomed us so warmly that we felt like family. It’s a true home away from home on Siargao. Our spacious, spotless room had everything we needed, including Starlink Wi-Fi and backup power, so outages weren’t a problem. The brand-new pool was amazing for cooling off after a day exploring the island. The thoughtful little details and lovely design made the stay unforgettable. 100% recommended!
