Eddie's Beach Resort Siargao

It's a quiet, nice place to stay in Siargao, with staff who are kind and always ready to help. The party bars and restaurants in General Luna are only a kilometer away or less, which made the location feel just right.

The food felt a little expensive, but for the convenience, the place was worth it. It's right along the highway, on the beachfront, with an inflatable pool and Wi-Fi. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well ventilated. Staff were kind, accommodating, and soft-spoken. Sir Eddie, the owner, was hospitable and checked on us, and he was around helping with operations most of the time.

The beach view was beautiful, and we didn't mind being a little farther from town. The people were okay, with the lady especially friendly. Still, people should know what to expect: the room was large but old, and ants got in through the bathroom window because its gauze was broken. The old mattress and ill-fitting bottom sheet made the bed uncomfortable, and the sheet kept coming loose. The room wasn't cleaned until we asked, and then we got just one tiny sheet to sleep under together.

We spent five nights at Eddie's and would definitely recommend it. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they arranged our airport transfer. It was generally quiet and relaxed, aside from a party next door on Saturday night, though the music stopped by 11pm. The room was very comfortable, among the best we've stayed in during our Philippines trip. The main street was about a 10-minute walk away, which suited us perfectly.
