Ohayo Siargao

The Wi-Fi was excellent thanks to Starlink, and that mattered a lot since most of our group of seven work remotely. We had no problems all week, even with everyone online at once. We booked several rooms at Ohayō Siargao on the General Luna backroad, which was peaceful and quiet, though the road can be bumpy and muddy. The place was very clean, with regular cleaning, and they ask you to leave outdoor slippers at the door and provide indoor ones. The air conditioning, fridge, and washing machine all felt fresh and worked well. Some parts still look like they’re being finished, which didn’t bother us since it’s a new building that’s clearly still improving. I appreciated the safety too, with night staff or 24-hour reception and CCTV giving us peace of mind, especially for the price. There’s a convenient kitchen, and the staff were genuinely kind and helpful. You can tell the people running it care. Definitely recommend, and I’d stay again.

We’re only on the first of our nine days here, but I already love the place and would highly recommend it. We booked two rooms for six people each, and I really like the minimal, modern design. Everything was surprisingly clean, the beds are very comfortable and even have duvets, and each one has its own shelf for keeping personal things close without digging through luggage. The bathroom has everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a lit mirror, heater, bidet, and tissue. The owner is so warm, kind, and accommodating, and quick to answer my questions. Since they were new and had no reviews when we booked, we appreciated how transparent they were. The staff looking after the place are welcoming and friendly too. I’m really happy we chose Ohayo and would stay again whenever we’re in Siargao.

I had a very pleasant stay at Ohayo. The cozy vibe, spacious-enough room, neat and comfortable bed, good AC, and clean bathroom with a hot and cold shower all made it comfortable. The location worked well for finding places to eat and getting to the main road for tour pickups. I’m grateful to the owner and staff for accommodating me on short notice and responding so helpfully to my requests. They arranged van transfers to and from the airport and kept checking that everything was going well. I highly recommend Ohayo in Siargao and will definitely come back. Thank you so much. 😊

I stayed four nights and loved it. The rooftop has a relaxing little coconut viewing deck, and the view outside my room was stunning. The room was a decent size and the bed was comfy. Ma'am Weng and Tina were such a delight, and their kindness and hospitality made the stay even better. The admin was helpful and honest about the road in, which is a tradeoff for the peace and quiet here. They can arrange pickups, and the informative emails were a big help as a first-time visitor to Siargao. The generator isn’t very strong, but Ma'am Weng and Tina get guests to cooperate so the lights and Wi-Fi can stay on during outages. Thanks for being part of my Siargao magic, I’d highly recommend staying here.
