Loo was helpful and accommodating the whole trip, and the beds were comfortable in clean rooms. The connected restaurant is delicious. You’re well placed between nightlife and day tour companies, and Cloud 9 is less than a 10 minute ride away. The price is good for a comfortable place to sleep. The amenities are what I’d expect while traveling in the Philippines, though the heated shower head was a nice surprise. I’m used to places without heated water, and with the warm temperatures, it isn’t essential.

Ate there yesterday. The food and prices were 💣💣💣💣, with great service and a clean, comfortable interior. The pitcher of iced tea was 💣💣💣💣💣.

The bed and pillow were the most comfortable I’ve had on this trip, and the place was clean. The location was decent too. That’s about all the good I can say, though. We had to look around for someone to check us in and eventually found someone in the restaurant, who wasn’t very friendly. The shower was barely more than a trickle, so we resorted to a cold bucket shower. The toilet kept sticking and wouldn’t refill properly, so we had to use a bucket for that too. I can usually fix that kind of thing easily. It was also so noisy: roosters and other sounds woke us from 5am, including something like a blender in the room, and the roosters carried on through the morning. Glad we only booked one night.

The water heater didn’t work, the supply water smelled foul, and the receptionist was almost always unavailable. Room service only ran until 3pm.
