It's very quiet here, on a dead-end street with no traffic, though the main street is only half a block away. Stepping outside the room feels like being in the province instead of the city. There's parking inside the gate, too, and for the price I'd definitely recommend it. The check-in staff were nice and the room was clean. My only complaint is the blanket, which was about the size of a beach towel. I'd go back.

We booked two nights at RedDoorz @ Lagao but managed only one and left early because we couldn't take it anymore. The towels looked like they'd been used to clean floors, and it was obvious they weren't washed properly. Even a simple soak with Clorox or Zonrox would have made a big difference, but that clearly wasn't happening. The blanket was ridiculously small and thin, more like one for a baby than an adult. It's cheap, sure, but even the basics felt neglected. I wouldn't recommend RedDoorz @ Lagao. At least make guests feel comfortable enough to want to come back.

We arrived at 1:40 after getting burned in the heat, and were told there might be an extra fee. I'd made a reservation and arrived in the morning, when he had told us to come at 2. We had a hard time convincing the woman. I don't recommend it, and it's far from the center.

We picked this RedDoorz branch for the location, but at check-in they said the main building had no vacancy and sent us to a nearby inn they seemed to manage. The inn was good enough for a pleasant stay, with toiletries, a kettle, and a refrigerator. Still, it would've been better to stay where we originally booked.

Good value and close to the city center. The room was nice, with a large comfortable bed, cable TV, and very fast free Wi-Fi. Sheets and towels were clean each day, and the cheap breakfast was satisfying. A great inexpensive place to stay.
