Wouldn't go back. The rooms are small, old, damp, and slimy, and the place felt overpriced and overrated. You’ll need a taxi most of the time. Walking is possible, but be ready to deal with the hot sun.

The front desk staff were good, and having a 7-11 right on the premises was handy. I’d stay here again if I got the chance.

The room was roomy, cozy, and clean for the most part, with the essentials we needed. Its location was great for getting to restaurants, malls, and other landmarks, and the host was helpful and quick to respond from the time we booked. We did spot dust on the upper cabinet and a broken drawer by the bed, things that should have been caught before check-in. Parking was confusing and felt unfair. Most spots inside the property were marked reserved, but the cars they were supposedly saved for weren't there. We had to park outside while plenty of spaces looked empty. First come, first served would make more sense. The front desk staff were slow and came across as unfriendly. Some guards had a poor attitude, and a few janitors seemed rude too. Everyone guests interact with should be courteous and approachable. The room and location were good, but the lack of basic hospitality from some staff really affected the stay. The place has potential, and I hope management takes this feedback seriously.

It’s 10:50 pm, and a band is still playing by the pool even though it was supposed to stop at 10 so residents could sleep. Avida is being run more like a hotel or resort than a residence. I’d strongly recommend looking at a condominium where management balances the wish to party with residents’ peace and comfort.
