We travel a lot, and this was the worst hotel I’d stayed in for quite some time. We booked a standard room that looked adequate online, but the actual room was barely larger than the bed. It had no hot water, and I couldn’t tell if the aircon was cooling properly. We paid an extra 350 Pesos to upgrade. The building smelled moldy, and the new room wasn’t much better. It was bigger, had hot water, and the aircon seemed to work, so we stayed the night. The pillowcase smelled strongly of mold. When we asked for replacements, the woman said there’d be a fee. After arguing a little about cleanliness, we got clean pillowcases, but the smell still wasn’t much better. There were cobwebs around the ceilings and walls, and the room was generally dirty. Three of the four main lights worked, in two different colors. The bathroom’s only light worked but was so dim we could barely see. A cup from the bathroom was visibly dirty when we brought it into better light, like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. We considered finding another hotel, but it was late and we’d already paid. We sprayed the room with Baygon and went out for food. When we returned, several bugs were dead, including a fairly large cockroach in the bathroom. It was a noisy night across from the bus station and beside the main road, though that’s understandable given the convenient location. Restaurants and a 7-11 are downstairs. I can’t say how the shower was because neither of us wanted to use that dirty bathroom. Luckily, neither of us needed to poop, as there was no toilet seat. We’ve stayed at other RedDoorz hotels without problems. I’d travel to the next city rather than stay here again.

The room was okay and clean, but the bathroom was small, with no shower or flush, and there’s no parking. It’s suitable for a short stop, especially if you’re a traveler who just needs a quick rest.

The amenities were decent, but they didn't provide complimentary water. There was no guest parking, so we were directed to park on sidewalks or along the service roads. Staff weren't very approachable, and when I asked for a clean towel, I had to wait for housekeeping to come in.

The room was clean and the Wi-Fi signal was good. The front desk staff were accommodating, and there’s a 7-Eleven right beside the entrance. The hotel is across from the Ceres bus terminal, which makes it handy for getting around Iloilo. Just keep in mind there’s no elevator.
