Reddoorz Plus @ Castle Chateau Iloilo

Parking got congested during the day because workers were using the hotel's spaces, which was the one downside. Otherwise, we had a great time at RedDoorz Castle Chateau. Museums and Atrium Mall are within walking distance, and the location is really convenient. The restaurant has affordable food and delivers to the room. Our family room was spacious and well equipped, with a double bed, two single beds, and two bathrooms, which was a lifesaver with family. I'd definitely recommend it for the location, comfortable rooms, and food.

The view from the room was stunning, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. The AC worked perfectly and kept the room very cold, which I appreciated after being outside. The booking price was fair, and I'd be happy to come back. I'd rate the stay 7/10, since a few things kept it from being perfect: the internet was inconsistent, there was no Netflix on the TV, and the room needed more power outlets, especially near the bed or desk.

The lack of outlets became a real hassle, and I nearly went to the supermarket nearby for an extension cord. I was first put on the 3F because of a system mishap; Wi-Fi and mobile reception there were poor. I wouldn’t choose a double room ending in 01. Those face the street, so traffic gets loud at night and even the air conditioner doesn’t cover it. On Mondays, the Hall of Justice across the road also plays loud music before its flag ceremony. The view is nice, though.

The staff were helpful, and there’s a relaxed cafe right beside the hotel. My room was roomy and had the basic amenities, though there was no refrigerator. The pool looked nice but definitely needed cleaning. For a quick stay, it’s good value.
