Zemkamps Chalet

We got around Guimaras by motorcycle, and most attractions were only about 20 minutes away. The place itself is quiet and cozy, with a very clean room that felt airy thanks to its spacious layout. Food, a drugstore, a gas station and more are nearby, and breakfast is good and budget-friendly. The people there were especially approachable and accommodating. If you smoke, the smoking area is right outside your door.

The rooms were spacious, and the comfy bed and soft pillows made for a really good night's sleep. Staff were friendly and polite, and check-in was easy. Breakfast was good too. There aren't phones in the rooms, so room service can't be ordered. At checkout the front desk was unattended, and I had to find someone in the kitchen to help us.

I was injured and struggling to walk or even get up, and the owners and staff went out of their way to help. They arranged for me to see a nearby orthopedic doctor and brought me a wheelchair. I've never had this kind of care at any accommodation before. They made me feel like family, and I'm so grateful. The rooms are nice and clean, and nights are very peaceful. I didn't always choose their breakfast or dinner, but they kindly pointed me to other places for good food. I love Batchoy, and they recommended a great place to get some. I'd definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Ms. Mae & G and the owners made us feel so welcome. They even picked us up at the port at night because they were worried we still hadn't checked in. It's a safe, gated, peaceful place, a good spot for a break from the city. The rooms are well maintained and super cozy, and the food is great, especially the home-cooked comfort breakfast. Their dog Stella is there too, and you can pet her. It really felt like our home while we were in Guimaras.
