I've stayed at over a dozen hotels in Siquijor, including pricey high-end ones, and Fig is the best bargain in town in my opinion. The coffee cafe is a nice extra, and don’t miss the Green Matcha 🍵 coffee. The staff are a great group of people. We had a clean, well furnished room, plus a large, clean pool and a good view with access to the ocean. Great value for the money.

I wish I could give it even more stars. We felt so spoiled during our three nights here. Room service was the best, all the staff were very accommodating, and the restaurant prices were reasonable. The place is well maintained and easy to get around from. There are several spots to relax, but my favourite was the duyan facing the sea. So calming, just right for passing the time. Definitely a must-stay!

The rooms and accommodation look nice, and the view is good. Just don’t expect a pleasant sandy beach, it’s rocky and cliff-like. The food was okay. Restaurant music was oddly cringey, with boy band versions of Pinoy alternative songs sung in a wannabe R&B style.

Desire at the front desk was welcoming, helpful, and accommodating, and went above and beyond to make our stay good. We spent three nights on the magical island of Siquijor. The resort has a lot of potential. Our room was spacious, and I think we had the best placement, sea view 1, close to the pool and the spot with great ocean views. It shares a wall with another room, though, and inconsiderate neighbors made a lot of noise from 5am after our first night. We were also put off when we asked for a glass of icy water and saw a staff member rinse a large bag of filtered ice with unfiltered tap water. I suspect this kind of practice may be why many people get sick, since the water could be contaminated. I didn’t drink it, and told the staff member that this was poor practice.

The rooms were fine, though they could use more light. The internet was weak, but at least there’s a power generator. Breakfast and the cafe on site were excellent, and the pool was lovely. It’s a great location, with plenty of loungers for relaxing.
