Marzon Hotel Kalibo

We only stayed one night, but the friendly atmosphere, service, and clean room impressed us. Our room on the 5th floor was super nice and had a view. We’d happily return when we visit the city again. Breakfast was great too, and our favorite among the hotels we stayed at. It was simple food, but tasty.

Really helpful, amazing staff, definitely 5/5. The room was nice and clean too. I recommend staying here if you’re in Kalibo.

The rooms and beds were good and clean, and the CR was clean too. But the layout is awkward: the CR is divided from the bathroom by glass, so you have to walk around outside to get to the other part. It feels unnecessary. Our mini fridge also didn’t work, so all our ice cream melted and went to waste. The staff and people who helped us to our room were nice, but the front desk staff weren’t very friendly.

We stayed for two nights, and the wifi never worked in the hotel. They clearly know about the problem from previous comments, but don’t seem to care. The lobby wifi, of course, works. The hotel also lets the public use the swimming pool, and they took it over from the guests. That’s unacceptable. Kalibo still feels stuck in the 90s, with no Food Panda or Grub available. I’ll stick to Roxas and Iloilo.
