Alfheim Resort

A lovely place to relax, with kind people and perfect service. They offer pick-up and drop-off at the main street, so getting around was fine. The resort facilities, including the spa and restaurant, were perfect, and I didn’t feel the need to go out.

The staff made me feel welcome, always smiling and greeting me when they saw me. Getting there was the harder part: the hotel is far from the road, so you need to book a Grab or ask to be dropped nearby, and booking a Grab was difficult. The guard outside also asked us a lot of questions, including our room number, and looked at us like he didn’t believe us.

The view is lovely, and the outdoor furniture is great. My friends and I have had dinner here a couple of times. The staff are friendly, though the menu feels limited and the food is just okay. Seems like a nice little resort. I’d have to come back and see if it’s improved.

The peaceful setting and the views from our room, at sunrise and sunset, were a big part of why I enjoyed this resort. It’s secluded, which also made it possible to relax by the pool without much disturbance, though transportation could be a challenge. The Front Desk always helped us look for a ride. Our room was great, the grounds were consistently clean, and the staff were friendly and wonderful. I also enjoyed the drinks in the Lounge area and the Spa. Room service was especially good: restaurant food came straight to our room with no extra fee. I’d definitely stay here again if I return to this part of the Philippines.
