Fairfield By Marriott Cebu Mactan

We spent three nights here and had an amazing stay. The hotel and room were nice, clean, and bright, especially for a place that had just opened in Dec 2025. Breakfast was complimentary, with a great selection of delicious food and amazing chefs. I was recovering from food poisoning, so I asked for plain lugaw/congee even though it wasn’t on the menu, and they made it for me. We also really appreciated the free airport shuttle. There’s a mall being built right next door. I imagine it’ll be even nicer once it’s finished and we can pick up groceries nearby.

I stayed one night to get ready for my flight, and the airport isn’t far away. The hotel is very new, so everything smelled new. The staff were lovely and accommodating. My room was beautiful, a good size, and clean, with a big window and a nice atmosphere, though the hallways are dimly lit. The bathroom was lovely and came with plenty of towels and amenities. The gym was clean and new, with towels and water provided. I think there’s enough space for two people, even though others say the rooms are small compared with hotels I’ve stayed at. Internet was fast, which matters a lot for my work. We got two free beverages and two small waters. I’ll come back.

The standard room was a little small but nicely equipped. There’s no beach or pool, though small malls and shops are nearby. At the restaurant, there was a nice ocean view, and both breakfast and lunch were great quality and beautifully presented. The Fairfield Marriot Cebu Matcan is a brand new, stylish hotel for a Fairfield property. There was construction around neighboring property when I stayed, which may or may not bother you. Thanks to all the staff who helped me during my one-night stay.

The staff are really friendly and accommodating. This is a beautiful new hotel in Cebu city, with modern rooms and great amenities. You can walk to the Cebu Yacht Club and lots of good international restaurants.
